Well, I finally got around to taking pictures of that little pumpkin I mentioned a while ago that I found growing in our back yard.  Poor little thing is deformed, but that just gives it more character.

     


I also saw these plants (no idea what they are - probably some kind of weed) near where I park my car at home.  I loved the variety of colors.

     


And even though it hasn't begun to turn colors yet, I LOVE this tree of my neighbor's.  This is probably one of my favorite trees I've ever seen; it's just so regal.

I love this month - it is definitely my favorite month of the year.  The leaves are beginning to change - I'm guessing next week will be prime time for the colors, which means a good time to play some more with my newer camera.  I brought up the Halloween yard decs today, and Mom and I will be putting those up tomorrow.  Caramel apples and pumpkin pies are showing up in full force at the stores, and the morning temperatures certainly have that fall nippiness in the air.  I love this month.  :)

I am getting so ready for fall, and today I noticed two things that got me really anticipating my favorite season.  I was out back cutting down some weeds when I noticed that somehow we have a pumpkin plant.  There is a small pumpkin growing on the vine - about eight inches wide.  And I also saw my first woolyworm today - it was a medium shade of brown.  And I noticed that caramel apples and apple cider are in the grocery stores again - hooray!
