Meet Alessandra!

There is a computer game I enjoy playing called FATE.  A free trial was installed on my laptop when I got it, and I quickly became addicted.  I downloaded the full version, and I play it when I have some free time.  It is kind of WoW Lite, focusing on your good old basic dungeon crawls.  It is not an MMO, but a single-player game, where you complete quests, kill monsters, and upgrade equipment while leveling up your character.  Two of the cool things about it include having a pet, which starts out as a cat or dog, and can be changed into more powerful creatures as the game progresses, and the concept of descendents.  There is one major quest that has to be performed; once that is completed, you can keep playing oe retire your character and create a descendent, which then gets to inherit one of the items from its ancestor.  I was on a sixth-generation character when my computer acted up this summer, and I lost them when I had to reinstall Windows, so now I am playing from scratch.  It's a good game until I move and am able to play WoW (no fast Internet here).

This is my current character, Alessandra, with her pet dire unicorn, Scorpius.  She is an archer; I tend to play either archers or swordsmen/women.

Zuma!

Don't ever play the game called Zuma.  It is highly addicting.  Do not be tempted by the colored balls and the cute little frog.  Do not be swayed by the need to keep bettering your scores.  Do not stay up all hours forming combinations of colors and hitting little gold coins.  Stay away, stay far away.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
