I got the days off I requested - hooray!  Another step closer to my vacation!

I love it when we get a good drenching rainfall, and how everything is so green when it ends.  The air smells clean and the trees almost sparkle with color.  Driving through the puddles on the road is very satisfying as well.

I need to get items posted on ebay.  I don't have as much to sell as I have the last couple of years, but I do have some swords, fabric remnants, a couple of books, a few ornaments, and some costumes to put up.  I am thinking of selling about five of my costumes - need the money and the room to make more!

I've started putting some of my photographs on ebay for sale, in limited print runs of 25 each, all signed and individually numbered.  I am not matting them for now, but once some things start selling and I have some money up front, I will stock up on mats and up the prices a little.

I also posted some stuff on ebay - some fabric remnants and trim remnants.  Take a look!  I hope to get some more stuff posted tomorrow or later in the week - some more fabric, a pair of fancy gold slipper shoes I've never worn, and maybe a costume or two.  I might be selling a few swords from my collection too, once I get around to seeing what I have (they've been stored at a friend's house).  Username there is the same - andaxiamoonstar.

I am really loving eBay.  Since I've been selling so much there, I've been trying to get as much costume stuff as possible from there as well, so it can just come directly from my Paypal account.  And it seems to be working.  I found my fleece for Tonks' hoodie for less than half the price it would have cost me in the store.  I also won the driving gloves, and am currently winning the buttons (for her necklace) and the dragon circlet.  I also found the perfect mesh fabric for the hoodie lining, but I am waiting to hear back from the seller to see if they will either get a smaller yardage in or will be willing to divide their 10-yard bolt up (I only need 2-3 yards).  My brooch has shipped too - yay!  No sign of the tartan fabric yet though - if I don't have it by the end of the week, I've have to see if it can be tracked somehow.  I might go ahead and order the ribbon anyway, so Merle can get started on the headpiece, and hope that it is the same color field.

On the job front, I have an interview Friday!  I am excited about this because it is with Chase, which I've been trying to get into for awhile, and I would learn accounting skills, which would make me more marketable.  I really hope I blow away the hiring manager.  Even if (when) I get the job, I am thinking of taking a part-time job for 3 or 4 nights a week as well, at a bookstore or fabric store, at least through the rest of the year.  In addition to the photography, I am also looking into doing some typing and basic proofreading for students' papers.

Tomorrow night is midnight showing of Dark Knight - whee!

I have a bunch of stuff up on eBay for anyone who is interested.  LOTR action figures, fabric remnants (decently sized), some nice costume jewelry, assorted magazines, an Orc helmet, and my Luna Lovegood lion hat, cork necklace, and radish earrings.  i am eliminating some of the clutter before moving this fall, and could use the extra money for fabric.  Username is andaxiamoonstar.  I might have some more stuff later - I am thinking of putting a costume or two up for sale, as well as some regular clothing and a board game or two - not sure yet.
