-Road trip posts WILL be completed (only 2 /2 days to do!) but it has been taking forever to upload the last Gettysburg pictures via dial-up.

-Made Toll House chocolate chip cookies on Sunday - nothing beats a warm c. chip cookie with a cold glass of milk.

-Rediscovered my love of malted milkshakes - hooray for blenders!

-Thought there was a bat fluttering around in my room, but just turned out to be a moth trapped behind a poster hanging on the wall.

-Finished the Inkheart trilogy and a few manga last month, and just started the third book in the Horsemistress Saga by Toby Bishop.

-Enjoying the cooler temperatures - 90's are just ugh.

-I really need to start working on D-Con costumes, but haven't been super-motivated.  But considering I am quickly running out of time, I better find my sewing mojo very soon.

I got the days off I requested - hooray!  Another step closer to my vacation!

I love it when we get a good drenching rainfall, and how everything is so green when it ends.  The air smells clean and the trees almost sparkle with color.  Driving through the puddles on the road is very satisfying as well.

I need to get items posted on ebay.  I don't have as much to sell as I have the last couple of years, but I do have some swords, fabric remnants, a couple of books, a few ornaments, and some costumes to put up.  I am thinking of selling about five of my costumes - need the money and the room to make more!

-Well, I requested off the days for my road trip.  Now hopefully I will get them!  *crosses fingers*

-Jello sugar free rice pudding = love

-The rain is supposed to move out tonight, and it should be nice the rest of the week.

-Splashed in another puddle today, but it wasn't very fulfilling as it had shrunk significantly since yesterday.

-I love cuddling, with the pooches, with the kitty, with warm blankets, with a good book.

-I've been tapped to be a mod on a couple of panels at Marcon - should be interesting.  And it appears I am a panelist on a total of five panels this year - busy me.  One on the Half-Blood Prince movie, one on Harry Potter and how it introduced many to the British life, one on Sweeney Todd, one on the upcoming Hobbit movie, and one on the new Star Trek movie.  I also signed up to do a Twilight panel too, but that track hasn't posted its schedule yet.

It is kind of long, but interesting.

I freaking LOVE green peppers!  Raw or cooked, they are one of my favorite foods.  I'm suddenly getting a craving for stuffed peppers *drool*

I finally got a hotel room for Marcon.  One of my friends knows a fellow costumer and panelist that was looking for roomies, and I volunteered to be one, to help save costs.  She also entered the Masquerade last year, and I remember her costume and seeing her while we were being judged beforehand.  I love meeting new people, so this will be really cool.

Speaking of Marcon's Masquerade, I'm not sure if I will be able to do the new Susan dress in time.  I am still hoping to have it for DragonCon, but because of the road trip, I may only be able to do one new costume for Marcon.  I still want to enter the Masquerade again though, because I think it is fun and I actually enjoy going on stage in costume.  I'll have to think what I can enter instead of Susan - maybe the Dragonmaster? Hmmm.

For the first time this winter, we finally got enough snow for me to make snow ice cream, thanks to a nice three-foot drift off one of the hills where our house sits.  Yummy!  This winter has just been so icky so far - nothing but gusty winds, rain, sleet, and ice - that it was a nice change of pace to actually see white outside.

I'm pretty adventurious when it comes to trying food, but even I have my limits!
