Here are some pictures of progress made on the costumes the last few days:

Still waiting to hear back about interviews.  If I don't hear anything by lunch tomorrow, I guess I'll be making some phone calls.

Now for the exciting part - costume progress!  Hooray!  I ordered a dragon choker to go with my DM dress.  I also got the buttons for Tonks' necklace - now I just need to paint them.

pascalbijou got my headpiece just about done - we're just waiting on the ribbon to arrive from the UK.  They put a rush order on it for me, so it should be here in a couple of weeks.  Here are pictures she sent me.  Isn't it gorgeous?  It matches the colors of my tartan.

   


And some more work done on the DM dress.  I got the two front side panels interfaced and edgestitched, and attached to the front panel.  I also attached the gold trim along the seams down the front, and attached the first layer of the front yoke.  The next step will be the same process on the back sections, which I hope to complete by Wednesday.  Then it will be finishing the yoke, and attaching the shoulder seams.  I'll probably break from the dress at that point to start on the muslin for Tonks' coat and to get the hoodie done too.  Here are a couple of pictures, showing the front sections and a closeup of the fabrics.
